Design by Focal Point

Design matters outdoors as much as it does in, though it gets less credit. A yard that works has usually been thought through: where the eye lands first, how people move through the space, what screens the view nobody wants. Design by Focal Point brings that kind of thinking to Mission, BC, from its address at 7180 Timberlake St. A landscape design business typically plans outdoor spaces, choosing layout, planting, and features so the result holds together as a whole rather than a collection of afterthoughts. The name states the method plainly: give the eye somewhere to go, and the rest of the space organizes itself around it.

Design by Focal Point is located at 7180 Timberlake St in Mission, BC. Callers can reach the business at 604-826-0048 to discuss a project, from a full yard plan to a single problem area that deserves a better answer. The best time to bring a designer in is before the work starts, when options are still cheap and changes happen on paper rather than with a shovel, though rescuing half-finished yards is a common occupation too. For residents of Mission who sense their outdoor space could be more than it is, a design conversation is the inexpensive first step. A yard with a point of view is a pleasure to look at from every window of the house that owns it.
